A couple of people on this board say s*** about DMB when I say I like them, I dont say s*** about everyone else's musical likes so how about just respecting my opinion and their musical talent instead of trying to be a smartass. Kid Gleason
Faces Eddie Cochran Gene Vincent Anything Brian Setzer The Damned Early Genesis Early Marillion Blind Willie McTell Mississippi Fred McDowell Hanoi Rocks Lords Of The New Church Dag Nasty Sam Cooke Smokey Robinson and The Miracles But these are just off the top of my head. I don't think I could ever say ONE band (or even 10 bands) are TRUELY my favorite band. Much of those up there are just mainly influences. My playing style is such a combo of all of them..except for Marillion and Genesis. Those two are just freak occurences in my musical tastes. But there are too many bands over too many years to place anybody at the top, IMO.

The artists on that list that I've heard, and I'm talking mostly about the rock group here, they are quality. And really I don't think about these threads as having to defend your choices so much as showing people what you're about and what has made you who you are today. bjm676
Pearl Jam. They were huge when I was in high school back in the early '90s. I still love their music. I also love Metallica. I've seen them in concert at least three times and they're the best concerts I've been too. Other likes: White Stripes Linkin Park Black Eyed Peas Modest Mouse The Killers The Beatles The Rolling Stones
ZoomSlowik
I've got some really wierd and varied tastes. I listen to a lot of rap and R&B. I don't really have a favorite in R&B, but I really like 2Pac when it comes to rap. I also like some classic rock, with The Rolling Stones, Creedance Clearwater Revival, and Aerosmith as my favorites. I also listen to a lot of salsa music, which sounds kind of wierd. I'm a big fan of DLG/Huey Dunbar and Marc Anthony.

Buehrle>Wood
All I seem to listen to these days is Ben Folds. I can't really listen to anything old and modern music has gotten pretty bad with people listening to stuff like the Dave Matthews Band and Green Day.
