Brian
Eagles are a question mark if T.O. is gone. I really like the Ravens this year. Lots of question marks everywhere. Will Cullpepper have success without Moss? Grossman stay healthy? Harrington mature?
White Sox Josh
QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 22, 2005 -> 10:09 PM) Eagles are a question mark if T.O. is gone. I really like the Ravens this year. Lots of question marks everywhere. Will Cullpepper have success without Moss? Grossman stay healthy? Harrington mature? The reason i picked the bears was because everybody in that division has ? marks. The Packers lost a ton in the off-season and nobody knows Walker's status, the Vikings lost their playmaker in Moss and they lost they lost their running back Smith for the year, and the Lions are the Lions. This division sucks.

GoodAsGould
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jul 23, 2005 -> 06:44 PM) Disagree If Grossman stays healthy and our defense stays healthy I think we have a chance for playoffs. Last year our defense was so good and thats with it being injury riddled and on the field 90% of the time. Now with a revamped O-line, Grossman, Benson, and the Moose our offense should at least be on the field for a respectable amount of time and our defense now fully healthy should dominate. I cant wait seeing Mike Brown, Tillman, Azumah, Vasher, Urlacher, Briggs, Alex Brown, Ogunleye, and one of my new favorites Tommie Harris. Even though im starting to like Benson I was so hoping we would complete the defense by drafting Derrik Johnson

Of course if Grossman goes down again the Bears have NO chance of making the playoffs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vikings will be worse. No Moss + No Linehan = 0 Offensive Production. They cannot succeed without those 2 offensively. Williamson is no Moss. On Paper, the Vikings D is pretty good looking. WRONG. Pat Williams cant play more than 2 plays in a row, he's out of shape no matter what. The LB corps still is trash, even with Nap Harris on the Outside. Sam Cowart in the middle is gross. The DE's are young, and could be good, Udeze and James got serious upside; but James specifically has injury problems. Depth at DL on that team thought is amazing. Kevin Williams is probably the best defensive player in the division minus Urlacher. The thing thats terrible is the secondary. Maybe the worst in football. Smoot was tied the most burned CB in the NFL (Cleveland CB Gary Baxter was the other). Winfield is the best run support CB in football and decent in coverage. Barring Williams and C-Pep he's the best player on that team. Darren Sharper? LOL. Puh-leeeze. The Lions will win this division because Harrington cannot go wrong with those WR's. The Bears will make the Wild Card, b/c the balance of power between the AFC and NFC didnt change this offseason. The NFC still blows. ChiSox_Sonix
Granted, I'm a huge Chiefs fan, but i find it hard to believe people can predict 3rd and 4th place division finishes for them. They didnt lost anything on offense and added Ashley Ambrose, Patrick Surtain, Carlos Hall, Kendrell Bell, Sammy Knight, and Derrick Johnson on 'D' and get Mike Maslowski (leading tackler in '03) back from injury when he missed all of '04. Especially when you see that the Chiefs play teams like Oakland twice, Miami, NYG, Houston, and the 'Skins Anyways...
