Isn't Joe Crede just Jose Valentin

I've supported this guy staunchly for 4 years and my support is severely wavering with every day he continues to post a .240something average

Hibbard, your third post on the topic was the charm.

Your first post was snippy; I'd say this one was reasonable.

As a Crede supporter, I love his glove (s*** he made a mistake flicking at that pop up that led to the Manny bomb). It was his first error in an obscene amount of games.

I don't think we'd be happy if Randa was our everyday third baseman, either.

well if it wasn't for crede tonight it would have been a close ball game. How? well after aj hit the homer with two outs crede went right to work and got a base hit. Jose would have just struck out or found some other way to get out. This allowed for uribe to come up and deliver as he has started to do lately. Joe crede doesn't give up with two outs so he is not like valentin.

REALLY?  Seriously?

Show me the stats (I believe you, but I want to see the splits anyway and I'm too lazy to look them up.)

I've got them for you....

I don't know how or why, but behind Frank, Crede's become my 2nd favorite player on the Sox.  I have a real hard time hating the guy.

I feel the exact same way, I don't want this icky feeling, I'm supposed to hate Joe Crede but for some reason I have become a fan of the guy. I just really can't find any reason to hate him.

Valentin could walk onto the set of any porno and find work in an instant. Crede - not so much.

Psssh, with those sideburns Joe will get a job instantaneously!

A month or 2 ago, people were calling for upgrades at 3B and SS as the main problem areas. Now it seems Uribe has become the main target for criticism in the Sox lineup, which at least shows Joe has picked it up offensively.
