I'm impressed with the way he's managed the team over the past week weather it's because the press got him to show a little more fire or supposedly being on the hotseat. Not that he has to get tossed out of every game, but it's nice to see him argueing calls . And i was surprised by last night's move of pulling Koch. I honestly didnt think he had it in him and i agree 100% with the move. Switching Lee and Konerko was a good idea, now he just needs to move frank down weather frank likes it or not. He's NOT a #3 hitter anymore. And he has let pitchers go longer then the norm including Wunsch. Just wanted to speak my piece without reading through 15 pages of posts because i'm lazy and dont have time. ;)

I still want Wally Backman here though. :P

I still want him fired. :finger He's changed his way of managing in the last week for the better though! :cheers

hes only changed cause kw was viewing the game from the stands all week... imagine that.. even jr didnt want him riding the glass tower with him...lol..... jm did a fine job till tonite .. cause if he filled out that lineup card he needs a kick in the ass for puttin harris in the 2 spot and puttin valentin in the 9th spot... that just sucked...........

The rest of the team respects Joe Nossek greatly, so I am willing to see how he would fare as manager of this ball club. He's very level-headded and knows the game very well. He's got the knowledge and qualities of a good manager. Then we could have Backman as his understudy as bench coach, preparing him for next year.
