WHarris1
QUOTE(bogie @ Jul 23, 2005 -> 10:17 PM) in the category of "i don't know what this means" and "useless information" Aaron Rowand ranks 23rd in total homeruns for a centerfielder. Do we have a problem here? He also hits over .290 and plays awesome defense. 6th among CF in average. 8th mong CF in OBP. 4th among CF in SB. Brian
Rowand's splits Scroll down and look at Rowand's #'s with runners on and in scoring position, as well as how he hits in certain counts. He kills when he is ahead of the count.

CWSGuy406
Rowand is currently posting a line .289/.342/.410. Find me a better defensive centerfielder who's posting a better line in the AL. Key being -- better defensive player. I see Torii Hunter posting a better line (.040 more SLG points, but about .010 less in OBP). Johnny Damon is, too, but I think Damon has lost a lot defensively. Anyone else? It pisses the hell out of me when people look at the better players on the team and use them as scapegoats, rather than looking at the guys who are actually sucking. Kalapse
Give me: Roy Halladay Miguel Tejada Vlad Guerrero Mark Buehrle Travis Hafner Manny Ramirez Johan Santana + about 50 or so more players before I scratch Rowand.
