Dick Allen
QUOTE(Soxfest @ Jul 24, 2005 -> 02:28 PM) Maybe FLA will want JC in deal for Burnett. As far as I'm concerned JC is just as good, if not better than Burnett.
Soxfest
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 24, 2005 -> 03:29 PM) The Count is getting up there in the pitch count, and when he loses it, he really loses it. I hope Ozzie has the bullpen on point next inning. With heat it might happen.
CYGarland
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jul 24, 2005 -> 01:27 PM) If Gload is sent down when Thomas gets back... :angryfistshake If Gload keeps hitting, i highly doubt it. Chisoxfn
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 24, 2005 -> 12:29 PM) The Count is getting up there in the pitch count, and when he loses it, he really loses it. I hope Ozzie has the bullpen on point next inning. Thats why I see Schmidt as more of the upgrade. Burnett can go deeper into games a little more than Contreras, but it isn't huge. Hell, could the key be how Ozzie keeps talking about keeping his pen fresh. Maybe he realizes that Contreras flat out isn't capable of going deep into games. What better way to freshen your pen by getting another starter that can go deep. The only problem I have is that Burnett hasn't exactly proven that he'll consistently go 6+. Now Schmidty, he has. Oh man has he ever. Although with all things quiet on his front, it makes you think the Giants are just going to stick things out this year and make some moves in the off-season and try and retool for the West. Schmidt and Omar still have good years ahead of them, Schmidt may have quite a few more (he's not all that old). I'd be so thrilled if the Sox got Jason centered around Contreras and prospects. southsideirish71
Bronson looks like he is either Wicked or Retahded. Dumbest sign today is the bandwagon RedSox fans who have the "I see Red People" Actually I see bandwagonning dumb people. Some 15 year old girl at Buffalo Wild Wings on Friday was professing why she loves the Redsox while we were watching that game in the outdoor patio. The entire table that was with her noticed that I and my 1 year old son were wearing the whitesox jerseys and then proceeded to tell us yup the WhiteSox suck and that they are all true blue RedSox fans and even 1917 crap. Oddly enough they did not have a New England accent. So I turned and said who is the starting SS for the RedSox, the girl turned and said well Silly its Nomah. I turned to my wife and said, I thought Cub fans were the dumbest f***ers out there.

Milkman delivers
There's one thing I want to see less than I want to see Contreras pitch against the Red Sox, and that's Luis Vizcaino pitching against the Red Sox.
CWSGuy406
Neal Cotts pitched a third of an inning last night. He is allowed to go more than an inning, right? So, then why the hell is Luis Vizcaino warming up?

Chisoxfn
You will also see Jenks pitch tonight. I'm worried cause Manny owns Sox pitching. I remember last years series at the cell, he had a grandslam and I think finished the series with 4 HR's, if not 5 and a gazillion RBI's. He's definately an amazing hitter. Lets finish him off Count.
