You know who I wouldn't want to face in the WS?

The Astros.

Clemens, Oswalt, and Pettitte would be NASTY in a short series.

But the Astros' offensive is offensive. No pun. Without Morgan Ensberg, Lance Berkman and Craig Biggio in their lineup, they are toast. If anyone may be a trader by July 31st, it'll be the 'Stros.

They have a good leadoff guy in Taveras. He's around .300.

Their 1-4 is really good. THe rest? not so much, but sufficient, kinda like us.

And MAN do the ROyals suck.

I don't know how. Either we're really good or everybody else in the AL blows. LOL.

I'll pick the first. The Royals just look like the bad news bears out there tonight.

True that...on both accounts!!! :gosox1:

If Willy T doesn't set the table ala Scott Podsednik, then the 'stros have to scrape and scrap for runs. Fortunately, their hitting has been turning it around lately. Going back to your original quote, you're right...their starting rotation is great, their bullpen though is suspect. Harville and Qualls have great stuff, but seem to get shelled once in a while. Only Brad Lidge stands out...man, I think they miss Billy Wagner. And, I have to say, Jeff Bagwell....say what you want, but without one of the Killer Bs, the Stros have a big hill to climb. They did it last year...and the Red Sox did come from 3 down to win, so who knows???? I've been wrong before.

:chair Oh nevermind, time for bed.
