Do they just photoshop the guys no uni on the original mug of him. for example. Joe Randa: Pretty much. In our case, the Marlins and Sox have similar bases for the jerseys. Both white, with black pinstripes, and a black undershirt. Randa would be a BIT more challenging as they had to change the undershirt color from red to dark blue and the hat as well. Actually it's not all that hard. Hell I switched Hunter to a Sox jersey, Halladay to a Sox jersey and the toughest of all Vlad to a Sox jersey. knightni
It's easy to change from light to dark hats/jerseys. Try changing a dark to a light and make it look good.

SoxFan1
QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jul 26, 2005 -> 02:41 PM) those look nice. are you just copying other caps and putting them on the players heads... or are you changing the color of their caps and adding the sox logo? Actually no. The Giants, Marlins, D-Rays, and Sox all have black caps. So, I copy the player's layer and scan how the hat is fitting on his head. Buehrle happens to wear the cap the same as many so I put MB's layer under the other players layer and just erase the logo of the other team. Example, Buehrle under Schmidt, erase SF logo, Sox logo is already underneath. And if the color is a bit lighter or darker, I take the pencil tool with black ink and color in around the Sox logo. If the bill is in different spots, I might use the bill from the player but pencil around the bill and logo to give it the smooth, all-in-1 look. Griffey and Vizquel were hardest. Griffey because he had his hat juuuuust a little to the left and Vizquel because he had the turtle neck and the only other Sox player who has a turtleneck in the pictures is Count so I used Hermy's hat, Omar's face and neck, and Count's turtle neck. If the player doesn't have pinstripes, a la Schmidt, Vizquel, Huff, and Griffey, I erase the player's uni and use the uni of the player whose hat I am using.
