This is like the 5th time he's demanded a trade, the Red Sox put him on waivers 2 years ago and found that NOONE is interested in him and his ridiculous contract. Do you think if he was the centerpiece of the White Sox offense that it would score more? The Red Sox order is a tough out, top to bottom. He isnt really the featured hitter, as he would be in Chicago. Ortiz, Ramirez, Varitek and Nixon is much scarier than Rowand, Ramirez, Pierzinski and Dye, no matter how you spin it. Plus, the White Sox rely on good defense, two words that should never go in a sentence with Manny Ramirez. Pods may not be a great defensive OF, but he makes alot of plays with his speed that would skip past Ramirez on two hops.
