The Hendrix that put Hendrix on the map, though, was a band, the Experience lineup with Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell. They were brilliant, and then not so, and now just TERRIBLE. Steven Tyler should not be allowed to speak again until he stops that strange rhyme/rap crap he does in every interview. Plus after seeing Be Cool, please, nobody ever give him an acting part ever again!!! Joe Perry though is still one of the coolest looking cats in all of music. I helped set up a show for REO a few years back, and they were some of the nicest guys you could ever deal with. I wasn't nearly as big of a fan of them before I met them. I sure can't say that for all of the groups we help set up, there were some really assholes. Some of them were really surprising to me.
