Brian Posted July 30, 2005 Share Posted July 30, 2005 I like getting people's hopes up: From rotoworld.com: Manny Ramirez - OF - BOS The Providence Journal's Sean McAdam says there are five teams involved in talks with the Red Sox regarding Manny Ramirez and that the three-team trade with the Mets and Rays is the least likely scenario right now. Just 2 more days to wait and see what goes down. Ramirez would be a GREAT DH right now, but that contract of his and the situation with Frank this offseason...just doesnt seem likely. I think that's a possibility, only problem is the Red Sox seem to want two quality major leage ready outfielders or one OF and pitcher.
