The more times the hitters see Contreras, the better they'll be against him.

I'm f***ing sick of his incosistant bulls***.

Burnett has NOTHING to do with today.  Stop.  He's NOT getting traded.

No kidding. It's like some people think Burnett is this superstar. He's not, and HE DOESN'T WANT TO PLAY FOR THE SOX!

as a manager you cannot just pull some guy out of the bullpen if they just started warming up if youre pitcher appears to be losing velocity.

Exactly, that's the problem. Cotts should have been warming up to come into the game before the inning started. With the good likelihood that Tejada would get on base, why let a lefty with almost 600 career homers face Contreras for a 4th time?

Cooper just went out there and the next pitch Contreras offers ends up as a HR!? Wow...

That’s 20 HR’s given up by Jose this year.  :headshake

Shades of Anaheim and D. McPherson.

Im sorry Ozzie cannot analyze every bleepin scenario pitch by pitch. There is no perfect manager and its mainly Jose's fault for pitching like a pussy.

Last time I checked, that's a manager's job. I'll say this though....leaving Contreras in was not as obvious a mistake as some of the recent pitching decisions he's made (Garcia vs Detroit the most glaring example).
