Princess Dye
is 40 points higher than Uribe's? Juan has the power, but i wouldnt mind seeing Blum get some time at SS. someone who can get a walk.... that would actually help us get closer to being the small-ball team we're purported to be
fathom
QUOTE(Princess Dye @ Jul 31, 2005 -> 11:56 PM) is 40 points higher than Uribe's? He doesn't have the vertical quickness to play the position. He's best suited to play 3b.

SoxFanForever
QUOTE(jamslam @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 12:21 AM) BLUM PLAYS ALL INFIELD positions! Just because he plays them doesn't mean he plays them as well as the regulars.
ptatc
QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 31, 2005 -> 06:00 PM) Blum isn't a SS. He doesn't have the vertical quickness to play the position. He's best suited to play 3b. Why do you need vertical quickness to play SS? You don't need to jump quickly except for the back end of the DP. Heads22
I can play all infield positions too if you want a David Eckstein type without any muscle, skill or talent.

Yossarian
QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Jul 31, 2005 -> 06:36 PM) Just because he plays them doesn't mean he plays them as well as the regulars. A good utility infielder doesn't have to be an All Star. He doesn't even have to be as good as the starters. He justs needs to be capable fill in when needed. Kind of like Tony Graffinino was for us.
