the fact that you consider yourself both a fan of the WHITE sox and the RED sox at once is not only perplexing, but also stupid.

pick a team, seriously.  if you want to be a bandwagoner, be a red sox fan... its utterly stupid to be a fan of both teams.

i cannot explain how incredibly pissed i am that you would think that podsednik is the "captain" of this team.  if you want to do a fruity little jaysawn vahritek compaHrisAWN, then use Pierzynski.

Honestly, get a life, pick a team, and support it.  This bulls*** red and black is stupid... if you were really a RAYD SAWX faHn, then you would be, and vice versa with the White Sox.

yeah what the f*** is the problem? You seem way off in your argument with this one..

I apologize, Red & White, for freaking out. I have to stop venturing to soxtalk while intoxicated. Please accept my genuine apology.

But still, f*** the Red Sox...

PS: I think it makes more sense to be a fan of the White Sox, and then perhaps pick a second team from the NL. That's just my $.02.

No, f*** THAT. Don't apologize. I agree with you. I know you still agree with yourself too. Who cares if people don't agree with you're opinion. I say f*** the red sox too.

I agree, and only because he has grown up a Red Sox fan and converted. It shows not only disloyalty to your real team, but a bandwagon tendency. Generally people who have two team, have them in different leagues.

I'm a Red Sox fan, I root and follow the White Sox so I was obviously rooting for the Red Sox. Being a baseball fan who moved from the Boston area to the Chicago area and given the choice between watching the Cubs or White Sox on a daily basis, I chose the White Sox over the Cubs.

P.S: Steve, your original post followed suit with what I would expect on Soxtalk, however the apology was not expected, and therefore appreciated.

And for the record, you are disloyal in my book. Being that you are a "die hard" Red sox fan. Picking a team to cheer for that directly competes with yours is pretty stupid IMO. Moving towns does not force you to conform to the city's fanbase. With today's TV rights, and national broadcasting, we have the freedom to watch our team even from another area. Being that you are still very young, maybe it was a youth thing. Its a good things you are a White Sox fan I guess, but for me, one of the best characteristics of the WS fanbase is our devout loyalty to our team, not the conveinence of it.

I am the most loyal person in baseball and out of baseball. Saying anything different shows your ridiculousness. I am not conforming to any city's fan base other than Red Sox Nation, however I choose to watch the White Sox over the Cubs living in the Chicago area for many reasons. One being price of admission, one being Frank Thomas, one being that I'm an American League fan. The list goes on and on. I had MLB.TV last season but would rather save my hundred dollars on other things choosing to watch on Gameday instead. I am going to be a senior in high school, age has nothing to do with anything.

Do you want my life story too? I could try and write that up for you if you need that to vouge for my loyalty and personal attributes that have nothing to do with White Sox or baseball whatsoever. The next poll should be on a scale of 1 to 10, how pathetic you are. :headshake

Only at Soxtalk, or This is why I come to Soxtalk, or, I expect this from Soxtalk.

You guessed it. Only at Soxtalk... At any other board you would have been warned by now, and threads like this would never have gotten to this point. Once again, only at soxtalk.
