If we go .500 the rest of the way, we'll make it.  That's not the situation that concerns some of us.  It's playing .350 ball the rest of the way which is the only scenario that could see the Sox out of the playoffs.

I cant see this team play .350 the rest of the season I realize it can happen but were not going to be that bad.

I bet the Padres fans thought the same thing, as did the Nationals fans :P Again, in no way am I predicting the Sox would tank like that. Right now, if the Sox don't make the playoffs, I honestly won't be mad. They wouldn't deserve to play in the playoffs if they lost such a big lead in August.

they have 52 games left if we go 500 the rest of the year we go 27-27 minus 27 from 41 our magic number and you get 16 that means then the indians can only affrod 16 loses before there out so to get in they would have to go 37-15 to tie 36-16

41-27 = 14

That's 105 pitches now for Mark, I'd say he's done for the day.

Especially with Bloomquist coming up to bat. I think we should go with Politte, and not HOPE that Marte gets out Ibanez. I have a "gut" feeling that Buehrle will be back in.

What a ridiculous throw by Beltre there (in a good way).  If we get these two runners over with one out, Dye better be batting for Timo.

Your right on. Crede get er done
