Balance
I don't see how Boone could possibly have anything to offer the Sox.

wsox08
Yeah, why don't we get Boone and drop Iguchi?
redandwhite
Bret Boone is one of the worst players in all of baseball. He is completely valueless, and the thought of a team possibly catching lightning in a bottle is all but gone with how terrible he performed for the Twins. spiderman
QUOTE(wsox08 @ Aug 8, 2005 -> 01:26 PM) Yeah, why don't we get Boone and drop Iguchi? I'm sure that's what he was suggesting.... Boone is done, IMO - Minnesota gave him a 2nd chance, and it didn't work out there....Maybe he should try pitching for the Yankees.

Only if we need a second baseman in the Frontier League.
Balta1701
Well, we gave Jeremy Giambi a chance in our minor leagues didn't we? Maybe if he has the same agent as Frank and we need to suck up to him more (as happened with Giambi), but other than that...

Now, if we start a bunch of sequel queries, then you might kill it.
White Sox Josh
I wouldn't mind it if he his a bench player or something like that. He would be playing in a great hitters park. His stats could only go up playing here. Not as a starter but just as a bat off the bench. You can do a lot worse. He also has a lot experience.
