Gene Honda Civic
Defense and walks killed the Haegermeister. Sweeney had 2 RBI's, but was 0-4. Rogo was 2-4 with 2 triples.
BHAMBARONS
Mississippi 6 Barons 2 W-John Thompson L-Haeger (4-1) Charlie had control issues tonight he walked 7 batters his knucler is still a work in progress. Haeger still made pitches when they needed to be made getting 3 DP balls and getting 2 others that were mishandled by Pedro Lopez and Wally Rosa. One thing I liked about tonight was haeger never gave in throwing that Knucler in fastball situations and getting those ground balls. On offense Barons were shutdown by Atlanta Braves pitcher John Thompson. Rogo had a pair of triples tonight one off the RF wall and the other off the CF wall. Jerry Owens picked up a hit to raise his streak to 15 and 27 out 28.
GoodAsGould
was Thompson up with the Braves earlier for some reason that name sounds very familiar.

Yeah, he used to pitch with Texas IIRC. He's been injured for the majority of the year.

danman31
Heck, Chipper Jones rehabbed in low A. It's merely about getting at-bats in. As explained previously by someone else, teams will throw their affiliates a bone with a name player hoping he'll draw. That and if the affiliate is at home and/or nearby the ML team then they may go to such a team as opposed to AAA.
