I dont see the problem hitting 5th, it means with Dye and Rowand behind him, he will see better pitches to hit and he showed yesterday he can hit them!!!

It also means that Pk won't see anything to hit....... And AJ batting 3rd?? Please.

Well, Pauly managed to get 2 hits yesterday while not seeing anything to hit.

I'm willing to bet that where Timo bats will have little to no bearing on the outcome tonight...as it did last night.

Someone want to fill me in with what was so wrong about Rowand batting in the 3rd spot? I know he doesn't hit the usual number of HRs a 3rd place hitter does, but I thought in a "Robby Alomar in his prime" way, Rowand fit the bill pretty well, especially when Pods and Gooch are getting on base at a good clip. (and not that Rowand is R. Alomar in his prime, but anyway, it's the best we can do right now)

PODS

Gooch

Rowand

PK

AJ

Dye

Crede

Perez

Uribe

Dye should hit #3. Aaron doesn't seem patient enough as a #3 hitter. Too many times this year I've seen him swing at a 1st pitch after 2 quick outs.

There are a lot of Timo haters on this board. But I don't believe what I'm seeing -- they're attacking him after he was one of the only guys in the lineup yesterday to do his job at the plate.

Timo Haters, show some respect.

I respect the fact that he somehow has a job, and got a raise, after being below average at his job for the 3rd consecutive year.

That takes some serious ass-kissing.

I respect him as a person, but as a player.....well.....not so much.
