Rex Hudler
Nice comeback by Honel after a horrid last outing.... Nice night by Young, including his 35th double, just 4 shy of the Barons season record set by some guy named Ordonez.
Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(GBlum27 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 10:15 PM) You just cannot stop Chris Young You can only hope to contain him.... I'm still waiting for his power to come. In a couple years when he looks (physically) less like Alfonso Soriano and more like Torii Hunter, he's going to be a beast. DBAHO
Good to see Anderson back, and Chris Young doing what Chris Young does best again. Excellent outing for Honel as well, he needed to rebond and he did.
Heads22
Should we continue to look for Pollok in the closer's role for the rest of the season?
BHAMBARONS
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 11:32 PM) Should we continue to look for Pollok in the closer's role for the rest of the season? It is bullpen by committee who can throw strikes and do well will get the important roles. Tonight Luby threw 2 scoreless innings

True. Considering that he came from JC and showed success in a wooden bat league I'm surprised they are playing it so slowly with him. He could be a nice addition for Kanny's OF down the stretch if the Sox decide to promote him.

He could be a nice addition for Kanny's OF down the stretch if the Sox decide to promote him. He's only 1 year out of HS, though. He was a freshman this past spring.
