southsideirish71
Meyers in to face AJ. Remlinger is 6th inning guy. Meyers is their lefty specialist.
Ozzie Montana
Mike Myers!!! why not Remlinger? Francona is smart.
White Sox Josh
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 08:21 PM) If Crede learned how to catch a pop up it would be 5-5 right now. crede didn't give up a single.
Flash Tizzle
5 outs left. Offense should do its best from this point on to assure Buehrle of defeat. It's not their fault Buehlre did his Felix Diaz impression, but does anyone expect them to score off Timlin/Schilling?

If a certain pitcher is better against righties or lefties...why not put them in against those types of hitters?
fathom
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 01:22 AM) Crede again f***s up in a boston series. Great. I'm not a fan of Crede, but if we lose this game, Buehrle is the goat. We gave him enough runs that we should have expected a win with him on the mound, and he s*** the bed tonight. White Sox Josh
I guess Remlinger has SHingo and Marte disease. Shingo couldn't get righties out this year yet lefties batted only .233 agaisnt him. marte obviously can't get lefties out yet he has been very good against righties. I'm actually cautiously optimistic we could score in the 9th.

fathom
We need Crede to get on base, just so Uribe won't be leading off the 9th (or should I say Timo).
3 BeWareTheNewSox 5
God, I hate a Francona managed game, he's all about situational matchups, even if it means 5 pitching changes in 2 innings. Let Crede swing the bat or PH?
Dick Allen
QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Aug 12, 2005 -> 07:22 PM) crede didn't give up a single. No he didn't. But the guy who popped out to him got one with his second chance. The second time in 5 games against Boston he has given someone a second chance because he didn't make a play a pony leaguer would make. And both times it came back to haunt the White Sox. He has been great with the glove for the most part this year, but these huge errors are one reason he won't win a gold glove.
