How do you think they will wait before calling it (which would suck considering)?

Considering it is a sellout and no more trips to Boston for the White Sox, they are going to wait until the cows come home or Joe Crede advancing a runner, whichever comes first. That's 38000 tickets the Red Sox would have to reimburse or find seats for.

I would say they'd call this game if it's still bad weather out at 7:30.

A new update from Hawk, they are waiting for another cell to pass, and after that he says it looks good. They will get this in. The only concern would be blowing out the bullpen.

I'd rather get this game in. It would be great for this team to have the confidence that they can win at Fenway if we play Boston in the postseason.

Translation: This game has been called (unofficially)

As if Boston crewmembers care about postponing this game with a Yankee victory posted across the Green Monster.

Even if Sox happen to lose if this game resumes, I'd rather they finish it now than play a double header in the future. I've seen two games this year where the Cubs withstood ridiculously long (3+ hour) rain delays, yet still played.

THat is a very good point.

Nothing short of a tornado would cancel this game.

We don't play Boston the rest of the year. It would take pretty much a fluke in the standings in order for these teams to have to make up the game.

There's still a lot of time to make this game up.

we have like 4 off days the rest of the year and no more games vs. the redsox. So no, we dont.

You're right. In my world I completely ignored Buehlre's first start. :D

If this game were postponed it would have to be replayed on an offday coinciding with a White Sox roadtrip and a Boston homestand. With few offdays remaining, and this game not (likey) meaning too much in the standings for our club, it should be played if possible. Even if it means fitting one inning in a 15 minute window.
