That funky motion
QUOTE(Wong & Owens @ Aug 14, 2005 -> 01:50 PM) You cannot beat Boston if you're letting the likes of Gabe (batting under .200 in Japan) Kapler, Adam Stern and Alex Cora get on base. Ortiz and Ramirez may be unstoppable, therefore you can't let the bottom of the order contribute Really?

'94WorldChamps
All started by Blum's inability to actually run back to a spot and try to catch that lazy pop up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did you think that dog could actually play 2B? Between Crede, Uribe, Iguchi and Konerko.... we don't do well with pop-ups/FB, to put it mildly.

fathom
Blum's taking a lot better swings against Clement today. He's faced him quite a few times in his career, so it's good to see him in the lineup.

'94WorldChamps
Is it me, or has Uribe leveled his swing just a tad and is finally letting the ball get a little deeper on him? The timing isn't there yet - witness the numerous hard-hit foul balls down RF line last night, but I'll take anything I can get from that doofus. The timing isn't there yet - witness the numerous hard-hit foul balls down RF line last night, but I'll take anything I can get from that doofus. Are you talking about Uribe? If so, yes, I agree with you. He's staying on the pitch a lot longer now, and while he still have his bad swings, he's driving the ball to the opposite more.
