Buehrle>Wood
No Kurt Kittner? Ah, who cares, the Bears are done anyway. I personally think it will be funny to see them suck so hard.

MurcieOne
What about Tim Couch? is he in THAT bad of shape? He atleast is young enough to bounce back into some semblance of a career.

He atleast is young enough to bounce back into some semblance of a career. we've tried enough washed-up QBs, why not a bust? why not sign Tim Couch or Akili Smith? maybe try out Eric Crouch, he'd want to play QB. Steve9347
Jeff Blake. Oh my. Long season of watching our amazing defense get wasted, overused, and finally, injured. :banghead
WilliamTell
lol on second thought I wouldn't want the Chiefs to sign him, so I can see where you guys are coming from.

GoodAsGould
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 06:36 PM) Just sit around and pray for Leinart, Bears fans. I dont think we would draft a QB 1st overall it just doesnt seem like something the Bears would do. What I wouldnt mind doing is going after a guy like Drew Brees next year. SoxFan1
Watch Blake win the starting job in Pre-Season, throw for 3,000 yards, and lead the Bears to the playoffs with Much having 100 receptions for 1000+ yards and TJ/Benson running for 2000 yards combined.... 1 can only hope. southsider2k5
From what I have been reading about Blake it sounds like he is one of the million dollar arm, ten cent head types? Does that sound about right?

Hatchetman
anyone old enough to remember jay schroeder of the raiders? he sucked, but they put him in an offense that ran and threw tons of deep passes. i'd like to see the bears do something like that with hutchinson. he's got a strong enough arm. the bears have recievers that can stretch the field. whitesoxin'
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 08:53 AM) From what I have been reading about Blake it sounds like he is one of the million dollar arm, ten cent head types? Does that sound about right? Yeah he sounded really stupid in an interview I saw this evening. It's probably going to take him a long time to "figure out the system" just like Hutch last year. Personally, I say give the QB job to Orton.
