He had the Adkins info earliest in the morning on trade deadline day, and then it was reported in print much later. He also hinted that Shingo would be released as there was no locker or plane info for him after he was designated. Interesting to do this before Sep 1. heirdog Posted August 15, 2005 Share Posted August 15, 2005 Chris Young has been batting lead-off the past few games in AA...could we see him in Chicago soon given Pods injury? I hope Anderson answers the bell as a much needed left-handed bat (with Rowand batting lead-off) because I would love to have our team strengthened from within. I would like to have Griffey but I just hate to give up Chris Young. I know potential is often given too much value but I am afraid to see the scenario where we give up Young and Rogo, Griffey comes over and gets hurt and/or we don't win it this year.
