Cubs Fan Checking In

Hey folks, I'm a lifelong Cubs fan. Not one of those trendy Wrigleyville people, either. I grew up watching Cubs games with my grandfather on the little black-and-white TV in his garage. A couple Sox fan friends of mine stood by me in 2003, so I have to return it now when the Sox are doing so well.

I just wanted to say, don't worry about this little slump, s*** happens. The Sox are going to the playoffs and this time they're going to make it all the way through. Oakland should be worried.

Good luck. Looking forward to October when you guys kick the living crap out of the Cards.

I hope this chair kills me... :chair

or how about this hammer.. :bang

maybe this punch will kill me :fight

sorry, guess im not that funny.. :headshake  :puke

maybe if you went in reverse. if the chair and the hammer don't kill you, the punch definitely won't. or you could drink yourself to death. :drink or hit your head against the wall repeatedly, though you might pass out before you die. :banghead

(had to play along. I leave for college in 40 minutes, and decided to sleep on the drive down. not-so-long story short, I desperately need something to do, and by the time I go through this and fix all the type-os, I will have burned 3 minutes. so thanks for bearing with me.)

thank you for confirming my lifelong believe that that are intelligent Cub fans. Funny thing is, we are fighting for the same casual fans that hard core Sox fans make fun of. Those 25,000 who attend each game, spend $$$$, cheer at the wrong time, do the wave, stand between innings, etc. Then we could draw 3,000,000 and Cub fans could make fun of Sox fans talking on their cell phones, standing at the wrong time, etc.

BTW, if you happen to be Steve Bartman :notworthy

Welcome. Now not all Cub fans are dummies. Some are sick of losing, and wants to see a winning baseball team for a change.Coming over to the South Side is a step in the right direction. You happen to fall into that rare catagory.
