Interesting Statistic...

The White Sox have lost seven consecutive games, dropping their record from 74-39 to 74-46. Only seven other teams in major-league history have lost at least seven straight games after being at least 35 games over .500, most recently the 1993 Giants, who lost eight consecutive games in September after being 89-48. That skid turned the Giants' 3½-game lead into a 3½-game deficit, and they ultimately lost the National League West to the Braves by a single game.
