elrockinMT
I plan on going to Seattle for the Sox games of next Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Any idea what the pitching rotation will be? I went to Denver in June to see the Sox and they swept the series. I will see if I can work the same magic. elrockinMT
QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 03:16 AM) This needed a thread because Because I am a Sox fan and have been and want to let everyone know and maybe someone will send me some beer money and I'll have a cold one for all of you. When you've been around a bit longer than you can ask me those kinds of cracy questions.

I saw Contreras in Denvder when he won 2-1 and the only thing better than seeing Jon would be Mark too.
JDsDirtySox
Hope ya have fun in Seattle. I have never been there, but really want to get out there to see the Sox play sometime. Road Trips to see the Sox are always a great time (especially when they WIN). I encourage everyone to try and get away to see the Sox on the road. This year I went to S.D., and Baltimore, and Cleveland... and I plan on going to Minny during the middle of September, and Cleveland to wrap up the season. BigSqwert
Didn't want to start a separate thread but wanted to throw out that I am going to the 8/29 game at Ameriquest Field. Anyone else going to that game? Pods is slated to return to that game if I'm not mistaken.
ceffa2000
Isn't that where Pods stole 4 bases in 2 games? Start off hot again Scott!
whitesoxin'
Not going to start a new thread either, but I will be going to the October 1 and 2 games at Jacobs Field. It's going to be fun wearing my division champions T-Shirt at the Jake when Cleveland is eliminated from the Wild Card.

Supposedly Seattle is the one place that is Comiskey peer for food. Especially with the Sushi thing they've got going on, definitely one of the top 3 or 4 nicest ballparks for mine, even though I've never been. Definitely wanna head out there one day to catch a ballgame though, hopefully by then management won't be so incompetent for the Mariners' fans sake. Bighurt52235
Looks like I'll be going... Safeco is a great park, I went out there earlier this year on a spur of the moment deal, in hopes os seeing the once respected Palmeiro collect #3000. Well, he only got #2,999 that day. I never have any luck trying to see milestones in person. I was at Safeco for the two games Frank sat on 1,999 hits. Back in 1999, I went there the day after he hit HR 300, left they day before he hit 301. Sox are 0-6 with me at Safeco.... maybe I should stay home. I was at last year's, Koch game.... I should definitely stay home, but I won't.

elrockinMT
I'll report in as soon as I can after the trip. Saturday night we have seats behind home plate, but further back aways from the field. Sunday I had to buy 7 tickets so the nephews and their women could join us. My wife told them they could pay us back by buying us some beer and eats. The tickets cost $300 incluidng their taxes and fees. That's a lot of beer.
