LosMediasBlancas
OK, so he's never gonna be a sportswriter, but it's nice to have a toally biased Sox fan with his own column. http://www.suntimes.com/output/roeper/cst-nws-roep23.html
tonyho7476
I think he jinxed them by marking his calendar with all the playoff dates!
Texsox
Fireworks rain in the sky, there's dancing in the streets of Bridgeport and Hawk Harrelson hugs Jay Mariotti and says, "You've always been like a son to me."

Cali
I always liked Roeper, as a critic and a Sox fan. I thought this was funny: Because I'm currently fifth on the Bears' quarterback depth chart and I have to be ready to move up at a moment's notice, I was able to make it to only three of the six Sox games. CubKilla
How in the hell do face value tix to all potential White Sox playoff games with a parking pass total up to over $2500? The only thing I can think of is that he bought up alot of seats.
JUGGERNAUT
ROFL with the line about Hawk hugging Kotex Boy He gave me hope with the RJ line. From corpse ball to HR derby to end of losing streak. All at home. Meanwhile Owens is down in AA with 34 SB, 46BB, & a .341A effort playing LF. He can't be any worse than the replacement players we have now. Send down Adkins, bring up Owens & maybe we can get back to taking the lead in the first 3 innings. The only thing I can think of is that he bought up alot of seats. This is if he only has 2 seats and didn't buy any extras. $55 X 2= $110 + $15 = $125 X 3 games = $375 $100 X 2= $20 + 15 = $25 X 4 games = $860 $185 X 2= $370 + 15 = $385 X 4 games = $1540 Total - $2775

Your seats were not much cheaper than ours, and we all paid the same for extras. MLB being in charge of setting the prices is bulls***. Steff
I forgot the $20 Sox processing fee. The total charge for 2 seats to all games would be $2795.
JUGGERNAUT
Trying to recall what I paid in 2000. I didn't have the ALDS tickets. I had the ALCS. With an early exit the face value of the tickets were refunded but not the processing fees. That's the risk you take. JUGGERNAUT
Depending on what venue you are using to purchase the tickets it usually includes S&H fees which they assign regardless of whether you choose next day or regular UPS ground. The S&H fee is associated with each ticket you purchase. I think the total cost was about $700 & I was refunded all but $60. Something along those lines. These tickets were purchased after the ALDS sold out. The best thing to do is ask the venue at the time you purchase your tickets. Pay close attention to any fees they assess outside of the face value of the tickets themselves.
