FLsouthsider
http://www.startribune.com/stories/508/5573778.html Enjoyed this piece, except for one thing... The White Sox moved Jose Uribe from second base to shortstop. He is hitting like Jose Uribe this year, but I'm relatively certain his name is Juan. The Ginger Kid
Wow, a great point by Ozzie that I'd never really considered: "Poor defense means a worn-out pitching staff. When you give away one out, that can be another 10-15 pitches in an inning."
TLAK
QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 05:35 PM) Wow, a great point by Ozzie that I'd never really considered: "Poor defense means a worn-out pitching staff. When you give away one out, that can be another 10-15 pitches in an inning." Jon Garland, in particular, has benefited from the improved defense.
