southsideirish71
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 04:11 PM) Timo. :puke How is there no Blum? He's our best f***ing hitter right now. No more lefties pitching against us, so Timo is back. Timo:Ozzie::Hollandsworth:Dusty Ozzie manages via his gut. The same gut that told him to pinch hit Timo for gooch, told him to sit Blum and play Crede. The slumpbuster lineup is in full effect. IlliniKrush
Let's see how Buehrle fares against another minor league lineup trotted out there by the Twins. He better dominate damn it.
IlliniKrush
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 04:44 PM) Maybe a 6 game lead with the offensive MVP being injured has somethign to do with it... Unless Pods bats .800 and steals every base including home when reaching, this offense will not look that much different. He doesn't make everyone else take better hacks. Besides, how was Pods doing when he went down? Just another lame excuse to cover up the problems of the offense.

Nobody in tonight's lineup got a f***ing hit last night. Pablo can play the outfield right? If so then why not play him in LF,Blum at 3rd!

POS G INN TC PO A E FPCT OF 8 49.0 8 8 0 0 1.000 why would you want Pablo in the lineup anyway? Just because he's the closest thing to a speedy lead off hitter that we have? Because he was great at the plate last night? oh well...let's hope Ozzie's gut is speaking spanish.

Gene Honda Civic
Tonight was the first time that the Sox could have started Anderson against a below average starter. It would have been a good guage to see if he really was overmatched, or was it just the top flite pitching that was making him look foolish. But, no. Timo needs to add his veteran presence to the top of the line-up.
