fathom
QUOTE(That funky motion @ Aug 25, 2005 -> 02:34 AM) Please be the good Marte! He should only face one batter if Mauer gets on. The problem is we're playing right into their hands of bringing in Morneau to face Hermanson if they get two guys on base. Mauer's a huge out here. NO WALKS! Chisoxfn
Marte looked a lot sharper during the Yankees series. I'm starting to think he's on the verge of getting things together. I know Mario and I were talking and he brought up a good point about Marte being one of those guys thats better when used a lot (kind of like Viz) and thus far Marte has been really eased this year (can't really blame the Sox though since he's been banged up). fathom
And know Cotts gets ready in the pen? Mercy Ozzie. Just let Cotts go out there and get the job done like he's been doing for the last few months.

fathom
I would have taken my chances with Cotts, and if they get 5 runs against arguably the best reliever in baseball lately....you tip your cap and they deserve to tie the game up.

The Ginger Kid
I hope I'm wrong, but I think it's a mistake to bring in Hermie. He's not the same pitcher he was in the first half. And if the Sox...never mind.
