He'll be in for 6 innings no matter what.  Where have you been all season? :P

I know, but this is a good time to give his arm a rest, considering were MOST likely to lose this one at this rate.

It was actually funny if you aren't a Sox fan. They honestly did look like the Bad News Bears. Balls getting by infielders, outfielder having trouble picking up the ball, outfielder can't field, easy steals against them (I think it was 4 in the first two innings before I couldn't watch anymore), etc.

Trust me, it's not knee jerk.  Him and Uribe have been extremely, extremely disappointing this season.  I just couldn't believe how pumped up his reputation got because of the New York series.  He's a very good outfielder...but Torii Hunter, he's not.  His throwing arm has been dismal all season.

He is one of the top fielders in baseball. Realistically i would only take hunter over him and maybe sizemore. Offesively though he has been very disappointing... but these are the numbers i was thinking about at the start of the year.

Iguchi looks like he's in slow-motion out there.  If this game gets out of hand, Ozzie needs to get Everett out of RF before he hurts himself or someone else.

The team might have had a late night after celebrating their first West Coast road series win in 5 years.

:cheers

If the sox haven't scored by the 5th or 6th inning Iguchi and Everett will be taken out of this game.

When you combine throwing arm/accuracy into the equation, that's where I think someone like Rowand is overrated. Basically, if we had a power offense, then he would fit in well. However, when you already have a SS and 3B who could be defined as defensive specialists, then you have the makings of a bad offense.

They shouldn't be celebrating s*** until they wrap this division up!

So, what's our projected clinch date? Honestly, I'm thrilled with how this week went. I'm nervous about the Rangers series, as I don't think we can outslug them. Their hitter seem to match up very well with our pitchers.
