Steff
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 02:08 PM) Yeah, that part made me laught. There's not many people on that list that interest me much, except maybe Walker or even Aurilia. I don't think Catalanotto would even be traded. That list is just the tip of the iceburg. There are over 350 names on the insider list. Most of the Sox are on the list.
Kyyle23
Gammons to be on Dan Patrick next. Im sure he will have something insightful for us.....wait a second. What the hell am I talking about? he doesnt even have anything insightful for Boston fans most of the time!
RockRaines
I said it before. I would take Walker, he gets on base at a nice clip, and can hit.

redandwhite
The idea that Todd Walker can be suggested as a possible third baseman/dh and Mark Bellhorn cannot further proves how unbelievable some people are. Todd Walker is a terrible defensive second baseman and cheat and many others ripped into me for suggesting a much more talented Bellhorn make the switch to third for this team. Bellhorn>Walker

A terrible defensive player, who has been known for losing games with his glove, who won't get on base a lot but will hit 275 to 300. or An average defensive player, who is known for striking out and walking a ton, who will get on base at about the same clip but we'll hit 30-50 points lower. I don't want either! Now if people say they want Walker to DH I say I would rather have Carl do that. If you want Walker to sub in the field, I would rather have Ozuna. If you are going to say Ozuna cant field, well either can Walker!

The defense isnt what is needed. Iguchi and Ozuna could play 2nd base, and Walker could purely DH.

fathom
Walker gives you someone off the bench who you can depend on for making contact in a big spot. Bellhorn is about the exact opposite. Also, Walker's defense is not that bad. I watch nearly every Cubs game (rooting against them), and his defense is vastly underrated. His defense is about average, but compared to how much he gets trashed for it, I just don't see the reason why he is. Not a single GM in baseball would rather have Bellhorn than Walker. Dick Allen
Its amazing how many people were hoping the Sox signed Walker last winter, and not wanting him at all right now, and he has a higher average than anyone on the White Sox.
