SouthSidePride05
September's the last month of regular season home games, and you would think there would be a limited amount of tickets available. I even saw an ad on whitesox.com a couple weeks ago that said 'Get your Tickets for September now, Selling Fast'.. or something like that. Well, I just checked ticketmaster.com and it looks like only half of the lower deck is full for the next homestand. I'm kind of embarrassed because I told a friend of mine from Georgia to buy tix in advance for a September game because they'll likely sell out in August. He's coming next weekend, and you can still get great lower deck tickets for almost all September games. We've had a record year, attendance-wise, and I hope we finish off on a good note, so we don't have to hear the jokes rolling into the playoffs. My point is: Splurge a little! We're all gonna try to go to playoff games, but let's all support the Sox in September also.

Antonio Osuna
I'm going Sep 1 and 2, probably a bunch of other times as well. If they do well in Texas and if they do well Sep 1-2, I'll definately be going to more games. But I'm not going to pay Uncle Jerry any money to see the second coming of the 69 Cubs. IlliniKrush
Hope this doesn't start another attendance-esque thread. But honestly, people will start going when clinching gets close. At this point, i wouldn't be surprised if many people are saving for playoff tickets. Plus, we're playing lowly KC, and "meh" Detroit. On top of that, many people are back at college/can't go on high school nights.

Antonio Osuna
I don't actually get why people don't go to KC games. When I go to the Cell, I go to see a White Sox winner. That means that when there's a game I think the Sox will lose, I don't attend unless I have free tickets. I specifically pick my Sox games based on the chances of victory. That's why I don't go to the BOS or NYY games, and why I deeply regret spending $13 on an Oakland game. KC is a big bang for your buck ticket for me, because not only are the Sox probably going to win, they're also probably going to win comfortably, depending on the matchup. bjm676
I'm going Friday, the 2nd. Monday, the 19th. More than likely I'll drop a few for the playoffs as well. I've decided against going to Core of the Core. Edited August 29, 2005 by robinventura23

Some people would rather see a BIG game, regardless of what they think the outcome will be. The atmosphere at a big game is much better than it is at a lowly KC game. Any day.
