Indians will be in first by Sep 15

The Sox have stopped hitting period, and with great hitting ballclubs like the Rangers, currently beating us up, followed by the Tigers who are a great hitting team as well, the Sox will probably lose 6 of the next 7 while the Indians are just plain pounding everyone right now. That will put the lead around 2 or 3 by the end of next week and then the pressure will really eat this team up.

Wtf are u talking about pressure? Where the hell have you been this entire season. Look up the White Sox record in one-run games, if that doesn't tell you how this team responds to pressure than nothing will.

Tomorrow is a very important day for the Sox. If we lose the first game of the doubleheader, we're going to need McCarthy to help us avoid at least our second 4 game losing streak in a very short period. We can't afford to have guys like Buehrle and Garland losing to no-name pitchers.

In all fairness, I smell your fear. Stay away from the dark side. Despite what Casey Blake may have told you, the injuns are not a better team.

They might not be a better team, but they're definitely peaking right now, while the Sox are not playing at the level they have all year.

I agree with you on both points. I just believe things will balance out. I believe the tribe is HOT and will cool off, but still be formidable as the season closes. But I also believe the Sox are finding a way to score some runs and with Pods on the base paths again, there's at least a good chance of the offense reigniting and doing the little things again. How frustrating was it to watch Iguchi leave runners at 2nd and 3rd tonight in the 2nd inning (I think)? I mean, those are the kind of base hits that we haven't seen in a long time. I think that is changing. Aaron's hitting the ball to right, JD is too and so is Paulie. Good stuff.

Well ya know, 4 errors against a good hitting team...doesn't really leave you much chance to win the game. I'm quite comfortable with where the Sox are right now, considering how banged up we are. People are getting their rest and trips to the DL right now before every game means something big. No Chicken Little complex for me, things will be fine.
