How could we move Everett from the 3rd spot in the lineup? PK might not have a lot of range, but he'll pick everything at first base. Where would he play, that's what I want to know? Of course, I'm being completely sarcastic. The scary thing is that Hawk has said those lines in the last few weeks.

The Dude
QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 12:29 AM) I think Hawk is going senile on us. Meh...I think hes just becoming more of a bitter old man. (World Series win might change that!) I hope he can stick around for a few more years as long as he doesnt start getting worse. The Griffey comments I think were made to not build up fans hopes. I dont think he actually believes that is true. Especially with our play of late! Heads22
If Todd Hollandsworth and Matt Lawton are vital pieces that can't be traded away, everything I know about baseball is wrong.

Well maybe on the Griffey comment, but you know Crede is just as good as Arod. Edited August 31, 2005 by Sox Hustler
Punch and Judy Garland
If guys like Hollandsworth and Lawton are getting moved, it'd be nice if we could acquire a comparable player in the next day. I know they would have little interestin dealing with us but Lawton would have been a nice stopgap for us. Hopefully we can add another bat, even not a premium one.
