CWSGuy406
At least we're playing for one run in the first two innings...
bjm676
Well, I think that's all Texas needs. Sox aren't prone to comebacks anymore.
SoxFanForever
Someone needs to walk up to our pitchers and b****slap them with the recent effort they have had.
Whitewashed in '05
Garland is doing a great job, serving them up nice to these hitters. 5 runs in 2 innings, I love how this day has begun.
fathom
I would have much rather take my chances against Blalock than Tex there. Tex has swung the bat real well against us. Oh well.....we're not facing the Twins and Mariners offense anymore. They make a lot of pitchers look good.
southsideirish71
our 1-2-3 punch has gotten pummeled in the last 3 games. our pitchers not pitching well + our hitting + our defense lately =
BigSqwert
It's too bad I'm not able to listen to Hawk whine.
fathom
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 09:51 PM) At least we're playing for one run in the first two innings... I was going to say that, but didn't want to be called negative. I absolutely hate giving up outs so early in a game at such a hitter's park against a great offense. the southside tiger
This is pathetic. Seems Jon of 2004 is back. The same worthless wimp who blamed his failures on the fans and everybody but himself. Atleast our offense seems to be somewhat alive today, so we have a chance to overcome this. atrain081
Hate to be so optimistic, but is anyone else here really worried about Cleveland??? We could drop another game today; a game and a half if the Cleveland game wasn't postponed.
Whitewashed in '05
Whoever said Texas hitting was in a slump before we got here sucks.
RockRaines
this has nothing to do with stealing signs. Every pitch is middle up, and they are killing it. You cant do that with this team.
bjm676
So would Blum's botch have been a DP ball?
The Ginger Kid
Garland either can't or won't challenge this line up. He looks scared for some reason.

We could drop another game today; a game and a half if the Cleveland game wasn't postponed. Worried? Try more like scared s***less. I'm happy the Indians got postponed today. If we lose both games today, 6 games is better than 5.5. I'd rather the Indians not play when they're on fire like they are.
RockRaines
QUOTE(the southside tiger @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 04:53 PM) These guys will kill BMac. I think the opposite. I think BMAC is capable of keeping them more off balance than jon is right now. He is throwing meatballs down the middle of the plate, and they are killing it. Pick some corners, and this game isnt quite the same.

Allsox
Farmer just made a good pt....If you can't get their 7-8-9 hitters out, you're in deep trouble and that's what Jon and Blum couldn't do

SouthSidePride05
This is disgusting! I have Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" playing in the background. Seems appropriate right now. This is getting too hard to watch.
