Rex Kickass
I gassed up for 2.46 on Sunday. I topped off Tuesday morning at 2.51. Today I topped off at 2.89. The pump jockey told me tomorrow it would go up to 3.19.
Heads22
I walk everywhere now. I don't like using the free campus transportation, but that may change when it gets cold.
FlaSoxxJim
I commute 100 miles a day. Sure wish I had me one of them hybrids.
LowerCaseRepublican
I got $260 and change this month from work for my mileage allowance for what I've drove the past 3 weeks. Gas is fluctuating so much here in CU, it is insane.
Queen Prawn
On my way home tonight I saw prices go from 3 to 3.3 for 87 octane. Only going to go up from there.

Rex Kickass
30.5 each way. Plus I add 40-60 miles a day at work for my job. Unpaid.
Be Good
Here its 3.40 closing in on 3.50. And also by the way for some reason a Moible is charing 2.75, which is no where near the avg. here. So there are lines like crazy for that station.

Rex Kickass
By the way, don't know about where you're at - but top off today. Apparently gas stations here are expecting another 50 cent increase overnight.

Queen Prawn
It seems like Marathon is charging about $3.50 for 87 octane when all the others are ranging between 3.00 and 3.30 (between last night and early this morning). I am going to have to start taking out a small mortgage just so I can get to work .
Texsox
BTW, I was just talking with a manager at Advanced Auto and they are sold out of most styles of locking gas caps. I thought all newer vehicles at anti-siphon filler tubes?
TheBlackSox8
I think I heard $5.99 a gallon in Georgia, they said it on Bob and Tom. I would hate to pay $6 dollars for just one gallon.....that's basically two gallons worth where I live.

Texsox
QUOTE(Steff @ Sep 1, 2005 -> 10:46 AM) You are kidding me.... :headshake Fully tanked up, I have over $300 of fuel in my truck and power wash fuel tanks. The 64 gallons of diesel and unleaded on my rig are in very easy to siphon from tanks. It wouldn't take much for someone to pull up next to me, drop a tube into a tank and fill up. In fact, I did that for a stranded motorist who ran out of gas about 50 miles from the end of the world.
