Steve9347
its so nice to have some breathing room again (if 6.5 games isn't) I am proud of the series against Detroit, and would like to thank Minnesota for taking care of the Tribe. White Sox, yes.
SleepyWhiteSox
Thank goodness. I was gonna lose it and turn to the dark side (damn pessimists ) if it ever got under 5...
RME JICO
Yes, it is nice to have a big lead this late in the season. It is just odd rooting for MIN. It is also nice to bring out the brooms since the Sox dominated DET with great pitching and great hitting! :sweep:
Antonio Osuna
We swept a losing team. Let's not get too excited. Tomorrow is much more important than these games. And this entire month, save perhaps for the Cleveland series, will pale in comparison to the Los Angeles of Anaheim games. If we win those, which is far from certain, then maybe you can get excited. fathom
I'm not exactly the easiest person to make happy, but I'm thrilled with this wknd series we just had. We just took any momentum the Indians might have had, and shoved it where the sun don't shine. Our pitchers definitely seemed to have a swagger about them this week. It was great to see hot swinging players like Young and Pena do nothing against our guys.

greasywheels121
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 4, 2005 -> 04:36 PM) These are the types of fans I feel sorry for. They can find the negative in anything.. The game was too short; we should've played for 2 hours and 8 minutes. 76 degrees isn't warm enough for a game time temperature. Haha, that was pretty lame, but we got to see Strong Sad...
