the southside tiger
Another unbelievably bad game on the bases. If there's one runner who's worse than Pods, it's Uribe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats not true. Most likely, that honor belongs to Carlos Lee.

the southside tiger
Juan got caught anticipating Iguchi putting the bunt down. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly. Juan had a reason to be out there, unlike Pods.

Gene Honda Civic
We still gotta get both of those runs home or be forced to hear the "Shilling is back" soundbytes on SC tonight.
the southside tiger
Uribe's steal percentage with the Sox is unbelievably bad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ill give you that one. But he doesnt make all the stupid mistakes that Caballo does. I swear I remember him getting picked off in scoring position in the ninth inning atleast twice. When Carlos got on late in the game, it just made me cringe.
fathom
QUOTE(the southside tiger @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 06:15 PM) Exactly. Juan had a reason to be out there, unlike Pods. My personal belief with a runner on 1st and 2nd is that if you're on 2nd, the one thing you can't do is get picked off like that. If the bunt is bad, you're likely going to be out no matter what at 3rd base because of the force out. It's not exactly a play where you have to get a great secondary lead because you need to be able to avoid the tag at 3rd base. It's a different situation if there was no outs, and the runner is on 2nd base w/no one else on.

He has pitched 105 pitches. I bet he doesn't come back for the next inning. Edited September 5, 2005 by knightni

B-Mac finsihed the 6th, but I would be surprised if he came back in with his pitch count at 105.

Guest JimH
I wasnt one of the losers giving up during our tough August stretch. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's true perhaps, but you also claimed Garland was a worthless wimp, a coward, and that Guillen should lose his job after this season. knightni
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 02:18 PM) I bet you he does. I guess we'll just wait and see. BMAC is used with kid gloves by Ozzie. MAYBE he will pitch to one or two guys in the 7th if he gets them out quickly.
