DBAHO
Well we got to Schilling eventually. Let's hope Brandon can keep doing what he's been doing.
ottawa_sox
QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Sep 5 @ 2005 -> 05:24 PM) Of all the individual player bashings, I find this kind of attittude, concerning PK, the most perplexing. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 01:25 PM) I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic. Yeah, you're probably right. Boy do I ever feel smart. :banghead Despite my being 'in left field', I've never understood malicious Konerko bashing.

maggsmaggs
back to Ozzie ball: good pitching, defense, hitting the homer, but not relying on it and bunting. Ahh, it's beautiful. Let's hope Brandon can get 2-3 more innings and give it to Cotts, Politte and Hermy.
DBAHO
QUOTE(SnB @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 03:35 AM) hooray for juan uribe not looking like a little leaguer at the plate He's 7 for 12 now this month.
fathom
It looks like both Uribe and Harris have started using a leg kick at the plate. I always thought that Crede would be better off using a leg kick, and get away from the poor swings that have hurt him so far in his career. maggsmaggs
Is Brandon really only throwing 86 mph or is it the gun at Fenway?

maggsmaggs
Juan performing well is bitter sweet to me. I want him to do well for the sake of the team, but the better he performs, the more Kenny and Ozzie love him and the less likely we will go after Furcal. Unless, we went after Furcal and moved Uribe to 3b, which would be a logical move to me.
BigSqwert
QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Sep 5, 2005 -> 12:37 PM) Is Brandon really only throwing 86 mph or is it the gun at Fenway? Who cares. He's getting outs. he can throw 46 for all i care.
maggsmaggs
Brandon is pitching so well up in the zone today, so far very few middle of the zone fastballs. Most of them are above the letters. Edited September 5, 2005 by maggsmaggs
