Mariotti is in the process right now of writing an article about how the Sox are going to win the series.

The great thing about Mariotti's brand of journalism is that if you write enough articles contradicting each other you are bound to be right.

Great post, guys. I logged on here wanting to make the exact post, saying we Sox fans shouldn't give Mariotti a free ride on this one.

He wrote flat out that Cleveland has a better team

than the White Sox. He can't take that one back.

Like you said, Rowand, he's preparing the Sox will win Series column.

Then if we lose 3 in a row and Cleve wins three in a row, it's back to choke time.

He's an entertaining columnist but at least we see through him that he is knee jerk with no perspective on the big picture.

Gee, maybe Pods was important to the lineup and/or morale.

Gee, maybe we hit our first slump of the season.

Good win today, SOX!

Oh, how the trade winds blow.  (Not referring to the sub-forum of the same name)

Should we start a sub-forum on all the bandwagon jumping on/off journalists?  Maybe Mike Morrisey should moderate.

if there is one nice thing about being in missouri, its missing 'sox coverage' by 'respected journalists' marriotti and couch...
