fathom
Quite a small crowd at the game tonight. Also, Indians are winning 2-0 in the 3rd. Needless to say, the Tigers offense is struggling.

jphat007
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 06:07 PM) Quite a small crowd at the game tonight. Also, Indians are winning 2-0 in the 3rd. Needless to say, the Tigers offense is struggling. Struggling is putting it lightly. Haven't scored in like 2 and 1/2 games. They sucked for us though, so I don't mind. And Ryan Howard is bueno. Incredible power to the oppo field. Edited September 7, 2005 by jphat007

fathom
It usually seems like Iguchi lines out to third when he hits the ball down the line. Everett needs to get one in, get one over.
Balta1701
Shouldn't Pods be fast enough to score from 1st when Iguchi doubles?
fathom
Everett needs a day to rest. He's been taking some real bad swings. And no, Pods had no chance to score on that double.

fathom
QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 12:39 AM) i love pablo. That wasn't a hard play or anything, but still. As long as he continues to play solid 3rd base, he's a huge asset to this team. His hustle is just tremendous. It was also nice to see Ozzie say today that he can't play Ozuna too often, or else he'll lose his effectiveness. That's a great philosophy when putting a reserve into the starting lineup. Steve9347
dude, that comment by DJ was priceless... Well, that's how it's been with El Duque. In his last start he gave up that solo home run in the first, and after that, had no problem in the second, right through the third, there ya go in the fourth, no prob in the fifth, and then in the sixth, it was hippity, hoppity, Easter's on it's way. PS URIBE IS ON FIRE!!!
