fathom
T. Long has all of his power against righty pitchers. I'm sure Contreras will probably start this inning, but just so it's not second guessing, I would have liked to see Cotts start the inning. knightni
9 left on base now. This is no way to beat the worst team in baseball.
BFirebird
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 08:08 PM) Farmer and Rooney just mentioned how disappointing the crowds have been the last 2 nights (attendance-wise). We do have to remember it is September, Sox don't draw when kids go back to school and the race isn't that close. Not trying to make excuses...thats just the way it works in this town. With everything going on with our offense, I'm not too worried about it.

knightni
Long fouled out to Pods in left. Pods covered the 1/3rd of the earth that Rowand doesn't. Edited September 8, 2005 by knightni

The increased outfield speed,I believe Dye is even a better outfielder than Maggs,is very evident this year and a HUGE reason for the improved staff. Damn Hawk just stole my thunder. fathom
2 out walk by Contreras. Berroa has a history of late inning homers against the Sox. Looks like it's going to be Jenks. GOOD JOB JOSE!

Jordan4life_2007
Jose can't ever get out of the 7th inning unscathed. Anyway, he did a nice job tonight.
fathom
If you keep Contreras in, you make it very likely they can steal 2nd base. Also, Contreras was a little up in the zone that inning, which is usually a sign of tiring. No second guessing this decision by Ozzie. Even if Jenks tanks, it's the right call. Well done Ozzie!
