fathom
QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 02:19 AM) Yep. I have more faith in him than anyone on our staff right now. Fair enough. I think Ozzie has seen his starters give up a lot of runs late in the game recently, and decided to take Contreras out so he could only win the game, not lose it. fathom
QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 02:20 AM) Score 6 and bring in David Sanders. But then people on here would be pissed that Baj didn't come in.
jphat007
Ouch. Billy Wagner just gave up a 3 run bomb to Biggio in a HUGE game for the Phillies and they lost. All with 2 outs too. Terrible, terrible way to lose. Meanwhile. Shingo has to come in with a 1 run lead, bases loaded, nobody out in Atlanta. Good luck with that one. fathom
For everyone that wanted Billy Wagner....he just lost two straight games in what could easily be the Phillies biggest games of the season.

BFirebird
In case anyone was interested Shingo has come on for the Mets in the 10th over on ESPN....bases loaded no outs...I don't believe the bases loaded was his doing though. nm...already posted...
