DBAHO
QUOTE(3E8 @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 01:29 AM) No Gio? See my post in the Gio thread. He's got shoulder problems.
Randar68
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 09:30 AM) See my post in the Gio thread. He's got shoulder problems. Let's not start a riot here. He missed his turn in the rotation with soreness/discomfort. Nothing is diagnosed and nothing major has been found, it's a precautionary measure. Let's get it right instead of using verbiage that leads to misunderstandings and exaggeration.
GoodAsGould
Is that Adam Miller the same hyped up prospect in the Cleveland system.... a 4.83 era isnt that good for all the hype he gets especially in high A.
farmteam
It's the same one. You get that hype when he apparently hit what, 101 in last years playoffs? According to BA, that is.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE(farmteam @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 05:15 PM) It's the same one. You get that hype when he apparently hit what, 101 in last years playoffs? According to BA, that is. When I was in Kanny last year I talked to some people who saw him pitch and they said he was hitting 98 on the gun consistently. He was an entirely different pitcher last year as opposed to this year. Has a great arm though and from what people have told me, his velocity sustained late in the game too (ie he could still bring it in the 7th). Haven't paid much any attention to him this year, but as long as he's healthy this year and can get his strenght back I think Cleveland will be happy.
