Rex Hudler Posted May 10, 2003 Share Posted May 10, 2003 Cotts threw 97 pitches in 5 innings. It was the second straight outing he approached 100 pitches in only 5 innings. He definitely goes too deep into counts. He has good stuff but still needs to change his approach. If he is to improve (and I think he will) you'll see less strikeouts, but less walks also.
