The pussification of posting really svcks.   But I realize it's a neccessity.

 

The new policy pretty much means that before you post look it over.

If the style is anything BUT respectful or cordial of another member of SOXTALK or the WHITE SOX then edit it until it is.   

 

Uggh.

 

I have a request.  Can we create a RIVALS RANT section?

A place where we can unleash our male angst on RIVAL teams.  A place where we can bash our rivals endlessly.   I realize there might be members from other teams here but can't we consider them trolls?

Do we have to be respectful & cordial to trolls as well?

So basically you admit that you want nothing more then being an asshole to people? That's pretty much what this post says.

This pretty much tells all of us in this community that you have no intention of wanting to debate, you just want to "unleash" on them. Furthermore, it shows you have no respect for your fellow man, and then you turn around and tell us we're to have compassion and evengelicalize about Jesus Christ. People like you give Christianity a bad name, IN MY OPINION, and that is not a "personal attack". I'm going strictly on the context of this post, and other posts you have made in the last three days.

 

And now, I can't wait for the "this post MAY be construed as a personal attack by the mods" BS that always follows when someone disagrees with you. That's your new mantra.

I noticed PaleHoseGeorge has finally lost his mind.

 

In the roadhouse, he's collecting names of people doubting the club and denying them access to the website if they make the postseason.

 

We should start doing this. It would sure root out the "dark clouds." 

 

I think it's great that he's banning all these people for nothing more than a single negative post. That means we should see a nice increase in membership here at Soxtalk, the best White Sox forum on the internet!

Unfortunately, not all of those banned members are (likely) aware of Soxtalk.

 

When I look at this situation it really bugs me I have to criticize a fellow White Sox board. My hatred for their administrators and their odd, often unfair punishments and rules make it difficult to ignore.

 

If anyone believes beer or myself are lying, or overstating PHG's lunacy, by all means check the Roadhouse thread out yourself and make your own judgments. Not even Iwritecode or Steff could spin this radical move.

I find it funny, mainly because I've never had an urge to post there. It's incredibly stupid and in some people's cases infuriating, which makes it all the more funny for me.

 

I've been registered there for a little longer than I've been registered here and yet have 6100+ more posts here than at WSI and the reason for that is Soxtalk is not 100% all positive posts, which is totally necessary, I just dont' understand how you can run a fan message board for a professionaly sports team (especially one with a history as miserable as the White Sox) and not allow any negative posts at all. And then go as far as to keep a list of names of all the people who have doubted the White Sox and ban them for not totally 100% believing in the team is just ludacris.

Yeah, we wouldn't want people to post their honest opinions. It might pollute the rest of the posters' minds.

Honestly, it's another message board that's not really any of our concern. They were always concerned with SN/ST back in the day and look where we are now. If ya guys have any concerns, as always contact one of the staff. We just don't need this thread turning into a bash WSI thread.
