qwerty
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 07:27 PM) None in 6 years...guess we're overdue for one. In spring of 2004 i know crosby had a inside the park grand slam and this past spring he had an inside the park home run. This list may not be entirely updated ( last few years) but i have been looking for any others.

SoxFanForever
QUOTE(qwerty @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 03:34 AM) Even cooler to see mel stottlemyre imo... Kinda funny with the guy right below him on the list. I am used to seeing Stottlemeyer in the dugout of the World Series of the Yanks and hearing McCarver's annoying voice in the playoffs every year. Funny stuff.
WilliamTell
The legendary Hack Wilson is on it too. I didn't know Karkovice could get an inside the park home run let alone a grand slam on it. Kinda funny to see Tony Gwynn get one in 1997, when it was the bigger version of Gwynn.

Again if memory serves...Karko was always pretty fast until he blew out his knees in the early 90's.

Too bad Babe Ruth or Cecil Fielder aren't on the list.
witesoxfan
QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 04:18 PM) lol that's true, and I didn't know Kark had some speed. Too bad Babe Ruth or Cecil Fielder aren't on the list. Oh s***, forgot about Cecil. He probably couldn't do it. He seemed to be the kind of guy that would hit balls into the gap, have the fielder misplay the ball, get an awful throw in, and Fielder would barely make it to 2nd. Kalapse
QUOTE(knightni @ Sep 8, 2005 -> 12:36 PM) 10 steals in 1992. SBs are not always a great tool to determine speed.
