fathom
Iguchi will hit a homer to the opposite field here. It's my one optimistic call of the season! Edited September 9, 2005 by fathom

fathom
Ozzie seems to be saving Willie to run later in the game. It's kinda disturbing he's the only guy with any speed on our bench with the expanded roster.

maggsmaggs
If Iguchi hits a gapper and we don't score, Ozzie should be stoned.
fathom
That was a great pitch for my prediction to come true. A slider will K him.

southsideirish71
We are getting 2 hit by the worst pitching staff in the bigs. 30th in the MLB in ERA. Teams hit .290 against the Royals. f***ing sad.
fathom
And that's why I don't make optimistic predictions Out of all the starters, Ozzie needs to resist benching Iguchi. He always states how it throws him off of his game. Besides Iguchi and PK, there's no problem giving one or two starters a rest every game. fathom
Blah...this game seems to be sliding away. I want to be careful with what I say, but ever since I saw that s*** in the paper about the attendance, I had a terrible feeling that we might be due for a slump. It's one of those things where the players should have just stayed quiet and "stay the path".
